Today, the 126th episode of PM Narendra Modi’s radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ will be telecast on Akashvani. Since 2014, PM has been talking to the public through radio program on every fourth Sunday of the month.
The purpose of Mann Ki Baat is to bring small and big stories of common people to the country, share challenges and achievements and promote public participation.
In his previous episode, PM Modi spoke on natural disaster, sports-player, innovation, education, vocal for local. The PM had said that the information of those who could not make a place in the final list of UPSC is being made available on the digital platform Pratibha Setu app. This information will be shared with big companies of the country, so that they can get good jobs in these companies.
First mind talk after new GST slab is implemented
Since 22 September 2025, new tax slabs of GST have been implemented across the country. Now only two slabs of only 5% and 18% are kept. Due to this, many companies across the country have reduced the prices of their products.
On September 21, the PM also addressed the country. This will be the first time after the new slab is implemented when the PM will talk about Mana.
Broadcast is a program program in 22 languages
In addition to 22 Indian languages and 29 dialects, Mann Ki Baat is also broadcast in 11 foreign languages. These include French, Chinese, Indonesian, Tibetan, Burmese, Baluchi, Arabic, Pashto, Persian, Dari and Swahili.
Mann Ki Baat is a broadcasting from more than 500 broadcasting centers of All India Radio. The time limit of the first episode was 14 minutes. It was increased to 30 minutes in June 2015.
