Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate India’s first global audio-visual and entertainment (Waves) summit at Jio World Center in Mumbai today. The Maharashtra government is hosting the Waves Conference. On this occasion, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, External Affairs Minister S.K. Jaishankar, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar will be present.

What is Waves?
The Prime Minister will visit the stage called Cryptospere at the conference and talk to the creative artists selected under the Create in India initiative. Apart from this, he will also visit Bharat Pavilion and Maharashtra Pavilion. More than one lakh people have registered for this competition. Representatives from more than 90 countries are attending the Waves 2025 conference. More than 10,000 representatives, 1,000 artists, more than 300 companies and more than 350 startups will participate.

A total of 42 main sessions, 39 special sessions and 32 master classes will be held in this summit, which includes areas such as broadcasting, infotainment, AVGC-XR, film and digital media. It is believed that this initiative will provide global opportunities to the youth, startups, and creative industry of India and India’s ‘Digital India’ dream will be even more strong.

PM Modi will reach Mumbai at 10 am
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Mumbai at 10 am. According to the protocol, the major faces including the Governor, Chief Minister and both the Deputy Chief Minister will lead the Prime Minister. The opening program will begin from 10:30 am. PM Modi will hold various meetings and meetings at BKC by 4:30 pm. Will leave for Kerala at 5 pm.
