Prime Minister Modi will visit Odisha on 20 June. He will attend a program in Bhubaneswar after the completion of one year of the BJP government in the state.
According to the state government, the PM will introduce vision documents for the creation of Odisha developed by 2036 in Janata Maidan and developed by 2047.
Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari said, ‘The state government was formed on 12 June last year. So one year was completed on June 12, but due to the busy schedule of PM, the program 20 was kept.
In the Odisha Assembly Elections 2024, BJP won 78 out of 147 seats. For the first time in the state, the BJP government was formed. Mohan Charan was sworn in as the 15th Chief Minister of Majhi State.

BJP got majority for the first time in Odisha Assembly
In the Odisha Assembly Elections 2025, the BJP won for the first time with a majority. Out of 147 seats in the state, BJP got 78 seats. At the same time, Naveen Patnaik’s Biju Janata Dal (BJD) won 51, Congress 14, CPI (M) 1 and others 3 seats.
For the first time in the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had won a big victory here. Of the 21 seats in the state, BJP got 20 and Congress got one seat. BJD and other parties did not get a single seat. In 2019, BJP won 8, BJP 12 and Congress won one seat. That is, BJP has the benefit of 12 seats this time.
BJP ends 24 -year -old 99 -day Patnaik Raj Naveen Patnaik of BJD was sworn in as Chief Minister for the first time on 5 March 2000. Since then, till June 2024, he was the CM of Odisha 5 times i.e. 24 years 99 days. If this time his government was formed, he would have recorded the record of being the longest Chief Minister in the country. Right now this record is in the name of Pawan Chamling of Sikkim. He held this position for 24 years 165 days.
