The death of 27 -year -old Ajit Kumar, who is working as a security guard at the Madapuram Kaliman temple in Tamil Nadu, has raised a controversy. Family members have alleged that this is a case of Custodial Death.
This temple comes under the Hindu religious and charitable settlement (HR & CE) department. On Friday, a 42 -year -old female devotee came to the temple to visit with her family. He had taken help from Ajit Kumar to park his car.

Woman claims to disappear jewelry
On returning after darshan, the woman claimed that more than 80 grams of gold ornaments kept in her car had disappeared. On the basis of the complaint of the woman, Thirupuvanam police started investigation and detained Ajit Kumar for questioning.

Family members accused of custodial death
He was initially abandoned, but family members say that the police later detained him again and after some time it was reported that Ajit Kumar had died. After this incident, District Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashish Rawat has started investigating the case.
