The police has arrested Maulana Tauqir Raza, head of Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC) in the case of violence in Bareilly, UP. A day ago, on Friday, there was a lot of ruckus after the prayers of Jumme. Some people from the Muslim community descended with the posters of ‘I Love Mohammed’ around Bareilly’s Al Hazrat Dargah. On seeing this, this protest changed into violent conflict. The protesters stoned the police, after which the police had to lathi -charged.
