Police stopped Bareilly of SP leaders, MP-leader Opposition House arrested, see
Many senior leaders of the Samajwadi Party have been stopped from going to Bareilly. Three MPs from Delhi – Iqra Hasan, Harinder Malik and Moibullah Nadvi – were stopped at the Uttar Pradesh border and sent back to Delhi. Leader of Opposition in Lucknow, Mata Prasad Pandey and MLA Atar Rahman were stopped by the police at his residence. Police was also present outside the house of MP Giaur Rahman Burke in Sambhal. Samajwadi Party leaders say that they were going to meet the victims in Bareilly and raise them.
