There has been a new twist in the murder of Air Force Officer Satyendra Narayan Mishra in Prayagraj. The police were still considering it as a murder committed with the intention of robbery, but on Friday, the deceased’s wife Vatsala Mishra issued a statement saying that her husband was murdered not with the purpose of theft or looting but with full planning. SN Mishra was shot dead at home on the night of March 29 at the Air Force Station in Bamrauli, Prayagraj.
Wife demanded a fair investigation
Vatsala, wife of SN Mishra, posted as Commander Works Engineer (CWE) in the Air Force, has demanded a fair and high level inquiry into the matter. He said that her husband was killed at the government residence at Air Force Station and this incident arises serious questions about security, because the entire area is high security zone due to being a military area.

The wife of the Air Force Officer said that on the night of March 14, there was an attempt to infiltrate her house, but then SN Mishra had driven away the miscreants from there. After this, he raised the issue of security in front of senior Air Force officials, but then the force had given assurance of increasing the security of the campus and said to look at the matter at the departmental level.
No robbery, target killing incident
The statement issued by Vatsala Mishra said that at around 3 am on March 29, a crook rang the door bell and hid behind the window himself. After this, when she and her husband moved towards the door after hearing the voice, then the miscreant shot and shot him from the window. He died as soon as he was shot. The wife of the deceased claimed that the crook knew that her husband was present at the house and who comes to steal in the house by playing bells anyway.
The wife of the deceased said that if the miscreant comes with the intention of stealing, he does not play the bell. He said that SN Mishra usually used to go to his ancestral village for site visits or some special reasons. But then there was never such an incident when he was present at home, then the miscreant targeted him.
He said that after carrying out the incident, the crooks came out of the house in a manner. There was no fear of crime in a military base in his face. Vatsala said that this incident does not seem to be of theft or robbery in any way, but it is a target killing incident done with complete planning. Vatsala Mishra said in her statement that her husband served the country for 20 years with full honesty, duty and respect. Now after his assassination, we have to know the truth and give him justice.
