The special thing is that this will be the first initiative of its kind in the country, where the youth will be prepared as fire safety officers and fire safety staff and will be provided jobs in private institutions.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the fire department has prepared the outline of this scheme. Under the scheme, youth will be trained in malls, hospitals, schools and other commercial buildings. This will not only provide employment to the youth, but the security system of the state will also be stronger than before.

According to the news agency, ADG Padmaja Chauhan of the Fire Department said that the state government has decided that as security guards are deployed in every private institution, the deployment of fire safety officers and personnel will also be made mandatory. For this, training will be given from one week to four weeks, after which the youth will get certificates and they will be eligible for employment directly in private institutions.

With this, UP has become the first state in the country where employment in the field of fire fighting has been linked to policy at this level.

According to officials, this scheme of the state government will not only provide employment to the youth, but will also become an example for other states. The ADG said that many states are studying the model of UP. In view of this, the capacity of the training center in Unnao is being increased from 196 to 600. Also, regional training centers will also be established in the state.
Standards required to become fire safety officers and workers
, Fire Safety Officer: Minimum age 18 years. One week training mandatory in the fire station of the district.
, Fire Safety personnel: Class 10 pass female/male. Either do a 4 -week training course, or be registered as fire volunteers for 2 consecutive years.
