A case of POCSO and physical molestation has been registered against the principal of St. Xavier’s School, Bharuch. A student studying in this school 2 years ago, who is now in college after passing 12th class, had last week accused her school principal Kamlesh Rawal of physical molestation. Bharuch police has arrested the principal.

In fact, last month, students passed out from the school were invited to a program during which the principal called the student near him and tried to rape her by physically molesting her. The student informed her parents about this. He lodged a complaint with the police. Police said that when the student was studying in the same school two years ago, Kamlesh Rawal was the Vice Principal and even at that time he had physically molested the student, but at that time the minor student did not tell anyone due to fear.

Now after 2 years, when Kamlesh Rawal tried to have physical relations by molesting her again during a school program, the student told her parents. Bharuch SP Mayur Chavad said that the complainant’s parents had informed about the earlier molestation of the student, after which the police had registered a complaint under POCSO and attempt to rape. After the matter came to light, the school transferred the principal to another school. From where the police has arrested him. Now the police is checking the phone of accused Kamlesh Rawal to find out whether this incident happened with anyone else other than this student.
