Prithvi Shaw made her first-class cricket in the Ranji Trophy for Mumbai in 2017.
Indian batsman Prithvi Shaw wants to leave Mumbai before the next domestic season. The 25-year-old Shaw has sought a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). Shaw has been out of the red ball team for some time.
A senior MCA official on Monday confirmed from the PTI that a letter from Shaw had received a letter from Shaw. The MCA source said, “Yes, we have received a letter from him and it has been sent to the top council for approval and it is expected that it will be decided by evening.”
In the letter sent to MCA, Shaw said that he is grateful for the time spent in the Mumbai team, for which he made his debut in 2017, but now he wants to move forward.
Domestic career was great Prithvi Shaw’s domestic cricket career has been very good since the beginning. In 2017, he made his debut in the Ranji Trophy for Mumbai in first-class cricket and scored a century in the first match. In first-class cricket, he has consistently performed well and has scored more than 3000 runs.
In the T20 format, he has also played for Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Shaw scored a century in a debut match in Domestic Cricket in Domestic Cricket. Apart from this, he was also the captain of India’s Under-19 World Cup winning team in 2018.
Shaw did not get a chance in Team India since 2021 Prithvi Shaw, who has won India under-19 World Cup under its captaincy in 2018, also made international debut in 2018 itself. He scored a century in his debut test. He played the last international match ODI against Sri Lanka in July 2021 and since then he could not play any match for India.
