Protest in Kerala Against Tushar Gandhi Demands Take Statement Back About RSS | Slogans raised against Tushar Gandhi in Kerala, protesters spoke

Some people near Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala raised slogans against Mahatma Gandhi’s supernatural Tushar Gandhi and demanded him to withdraw the statement made against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) allegedly.

Police said that a group of alleged people allegedly associated with the Sangh Parivar raised slogans against Tushar Gandhi at the end of a ceremony in Nayyatinkara on Wednesday (March 12, 2025).

He informed that no case has been registered in this regard. Tushar Gandhi went to Nayyatinakara to unveil the statue of late Gandhian P Gopinathan Nair. In his speech, he allegedly said that the soul of the country has been held by cancer, and he said that the Sangh Parivar is spreading it.

In some videos broadcast on TV channels, some group of people are seen raising slogans demanding to withdraw their statement from Tushar Gandhi. TV channels said in their news that they were RSS and BJP workers and were demanding Tushar Gandhi to withdraw their statement.

After the slogans of BJP and RSS workers and Tushar Gandhi’s car were stopped, tension spread in the area. The protesters said that the BJP represents the municipal ward.

According to reports aired in TV channels, Tushar Gandhi allegedly left after chanting Gandhiji’s ‘Ji’. At the same time, he clarified that his stand is firm. Later, Tusshar Gandhi said that he would not take any legal action against the RSS-BJP workers.

He told a TV channel on Thursday, “There was no attack on me, he only stopped my vehicle, so I will not take any action.” Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) chief K Kran Sudhakaran issued a statement late on Wednesday and condemned the incident. Sudhakaran said, “Communal forces who sideline Gandhi and glorify Godse, there is no place on the secular land of Kerala for him.”
