Now worker is asking questions on factionalism
Factionalism is not a new issue in Punjab Congress. But when the workers start asking this question with the party leaders, then this thing becomes even more important. Actually, ‘Joon Block, Congress will win’, the campaign has been started by the Congress these days. A worker in Derabassi lifted factionalism in the presence of senior leaders.
On this, State Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Wading said that factions have always been formed and will continue to be made even further. But this factionalism and mutual fight had reduced Congress seats from 58 to 18 in the last election. He said that Punjab Congress is the only state unit where there is no difference between the state president and the CLP leader.
In -charge changed as soon as Delhi lost elections
In January 2024, Delhi leader Devendra Yadav was put in charge of Punjab by Punjab Congress. Even though the party has been able to perform well in the Lok Sabha elections. But he also failed to gather senior leaders of the party. Many big leaders, including Navjot Singh Sidhu, did not appear together on the party office or stage during his tenure.
While Devendra Yadav himself lost the election in the Delhi elections. Soon after, the in -charge of Punjab was changed. At the same time, this time senior party leader Bhupesh Baghel has been given the command. On February 24, he took charge at all religious places, including the Golden Temple in Amritsar. He then held a meeting with party leaders in Chandigarh on 25 February. After this, a meeting is going to be held today.
