Demand to name New Delhi railway station after the ninth Guru
Raja Wading said that Guru Tegh Bahadur traveled from Shri Anandpur Sahib to Delhi to protect Kashmiri Pandits. Where he was beheaded on the orders of the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. Which could not force him to change his religion.
Congress -headed wading said that Guru Tegh Bahadur is truly called “Hind Di Chadar” (shield of India), because he protected religion from an oppression. He said that once the New Delhi railway station is named after the ninth Guru, it will definitely motivate more people, especially our young and future generations to know about their great sacrifice.
