A 26 -year -old man attacked a 26 -year -old man after a dispute over the seat in an express train at Nandurbar railway station in Maharashtra, in which he died and another was injured. An official said that a person has been arrested for the attack on Chennai-Jodhpur Express on Sunday evening and a minor has been detained.

He told that the victims Sumer Singh and Parbat Parihar (40) boarded the train from Chennai and were going to their home in Jodhpur. The official said that when the train reached Bhusaval station, both of them argued with a passenger over the seat and the passenger called some of his friends at Nandurbar station.

Passenger’s friends attacked with sharp weapons
The official said that when the train reached Nandurbar, the passenger’s friends attacked both of them with sharp weapons, injuring them. After this, the railway employees reached the spot, but by then the attackers managed to escape. He said that the injured were admitted to the district hospital, where Singh died in the early hours of Monday. A case has been registered in this regard and investigation is on.
