The letter said that the absence of immediate action against the BJP spokesperson would be considered in collusion in violence against Rahul Gandhi.
Venugopal wrote to Amit Shah- This threat is not a negligent reaction of a small officer. This is the effect of the poisonous environment of intentional spread hatred. Which makes the Leader of the Opposition unsafe. Now it is your responsibility to tell which ideology your party and government are in favor of.
In fact, a news channel in Kerala was having a live debate on the Ladakh violence. During this, former ABVP leader Printu Mahadev, who came to speak from the BJP, had said that Rahul Gandhi will be shot in the chest.

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) posted under the protection of Rahul Gandhi has accused him of breaking the security protocol. CRPF wrote a letter to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge recently and said that Rahul Gandhi went abroad 6 times without giving information in the last 9 months. CRPF also sent a separate letter to Rahul Gandhi. In which it was written that this type of lapse may weaken their Z+ category security and may face danger. The agency said that even before this she had raised the issue.
