Rahul gandhi on eci: The entire opposition, including the Congress, is an attack on the Election Commission regarding manipulation and duplicate voter ID card in the voter list. Meanwhile, the Election Commission said on Tuesday that the work of connecting voter ID cards with Aadhaar will be done as per the instructions of the Supreme Court. ECI said that technical counseling between UIDAI and its experts for this process will start soon. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said that he has reacted.
Congress has been raising these issues
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi posted on X and wrote, “Today the Election Commission of India has announced that it will connect Aadhaar with voter ID cards. Congress and India alliance parties have been continuously raising issues of voter lists, including many issues including duplicate voter ID cards, including duplicate voter ID cards.”
Poor can have problems- Rahul Gandhi
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said, “Aadhaar may solve the problem of duplicate voter ID number, but the poorest and most disadvantaged people may face difficulties in the process of linking Aadhaar. The Election Commission of India should ensure that no Indian is deprived of their franchise and should solve the concerns related to privacy.”
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi had claimed that more than 39 lakh voters were added to the state’s voter list within five months, alleging disturbances in the Maharashtra assembly elections last month. He demanded that we need the centralized and final list related to Maharashtra elections, which has been voted in the Lok Sabha and the assembly. Now after the decision of the Election Commission, Rahul Gandhi has again repeated his demands.
Rahul Gandhi made these demands
The Congress MP said, “Now that the Election Commission has accepted this problem, I reiterate my previous demand that it should also focus on the issue of adding and removing the names. It should start by sharing the photo of the entire voter list of the 2024 assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra.”
