Rahul Gandhi: ‘How to be the king of the country …’, Rahul Gandhi gave a reaction to the slogans, ‘I against this thinking’

Something happened in the Congress’ legal conclave held on Saturday (2 August 2025) in Delhi, which created a stir in the political corridors. When Rahul Gandhi came to give a speech on the stage, party workers raised loud slogans, how should the king of the country be? Be like Rahul Gandhi! However, Rahul immediately stopped this slogan. He said that no… no … I am not a king. I do not even want to be a king. I am against the thinking of the king. The theme of the program was the paths to solve constitutional challenges. The Congress leader did a sharp attack on the Election Commission of India (ECI). He alleged that the 2024 Lok Sabha elections have been rigged and India’s election system is already dead.

Rahul Gandhi alleged that India’s election process is no longer fair. He said that the Prime Minister of India is in power with a very low majority. If only 15 seats would not have been rigged and we suspect that this number is more than 70-80, then he would not have been the Prime Minister. This statement in itself puts a big question mark on India’s democratic process. The Congress, according to Rahul, thoroughly investigated the issue for six months and claimed that out of 6.5 lakh voters in a Karnataka assembly seat, 1.5 lakh voters were fake. Rahul said, “When we release this data, the whole country will be shaken. It is like an atomic bomb that will fall on the electoral system.”

Election Commission accused of capturing
Rahul Gandhi said that the Election Commission has been abolished and it has been captured. He claimed that the Congress has such evidence, which shows that the Election Commission has no longer an independent institution, but has become an inactive unit. He reiterated the possibility of rigging in elections since 2014 and presented the Congress defeat in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, where the party did not get a single seat. Giving another shocking example from Maharashtra, Rahul said that one crore new voters came out before the assembly elections, most of which voted for the BJP. He claimed that this process was controlled carefully.
