The maximum number of 33-33 people are from Haryana and Gujarat.

According to the report of the Indian Express, Harvinder Singh, who hails from Hoshiarpur district of Punjab, said that he was handcuffed for 40 hours and was tied with legs, due to which he was not able to move even an inch from his seat. Regarding this, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi targeted the Modi government at the Center. Rahul Gandhi shared a video of Harvinder Singh on X, in which he mentioned his sufferings. The Congress MP said, Prime Minister, listen to the pain of this man, deserves Indian respect and humanity, not handcuffs. “
‘Could not eat properly for 40 hours’
Describing the journey from America to India as worse than hell, Harvinder said that he could not even eat properly for 40 hours. He said, “We requested the security personnel to remove handcuffs for a few minutes, but there was no hearing.” External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar presented the government’s side in both houses of Parliament regarding this matter.
On the questions raised by the opposition MPs, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that we were aware of sending 104 Indians back. We have instructed the authorities to sit from every retriever and talk about how they went to America. If a citizen is found to be illegally living abroad, it is the responsibility of all countries to call him back. We are interacting with the US government to ensure that there is no misbehavior with the exiles returning.
