RAID 2 review: Amay Patnaik’s big bang is in a strong tweist

Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Red’ entertained people in the year 2018. It was said to be the best crime thriller of Bollywood at that time. The audience enjoys watching every good film again. Also, he wants to become a new part of these good films. In view of this, director Raj Kumar Gupta and actor Ajay Devgan announced the film ‘Red 2’. After which there was a stir in the audience. Now the audience is over and ‘Red 2’ has been released.

Story

The story of the film is from Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgan) in his classic style by putting red before the sun rises. The king of Rajasthan (Govind Namdev) is on the target of Amay, who is having fun with the pool party in his palace. Angered by Red, the king makes bullets and cannons at the team of Income Tax Officers and sends all his treasure in trucks and sends it elsewhere. But if Amay Patnaik is behind him, how can he survive? But after seizing the king’s treasure, Amay does something that is difficult for you and everyone to believe. He asks for a bribe of Rs 2 crore to make the case of the king raised. Just what then? Amay is transferred as soon as the boss knows.

Now Amay Patnaik’s banquet has arrived. Every time his daughter and wife Malini (Vani Kapoor) are also with her. Amay appears to be a big poster of a minister while entering the banquet. These posters have talk of public welfare and love for the public in the eyes of the minister. Then Amay sees the face of Manohar Dhankar alias Dada Bhai (Ritesh Deshmukh) for the first time. Dada Bhai is the servant of the public. Even when he had nothing, he used to serve the public and due to this, the public made him a minister. Now to serve the people, Dada Bhai has opened a foundation called his mother Sushma (Supriya Pathak), in which many people work and earn money. Dada Bhai keeps his mother above God. Every morning wakes up and worships them and makes their heads off at their feet.

The image of Dada Bhai is very clear white kurta of chikankari and this is a matter of suspicion for Amay. When he goes out to find things at the banquet, he comes to know about the black work of Dada Bhai. But the matter is no longer limited to income tax fraud. Dada Bhai has kept fraud of 500 crores, but along with that he is included in more big things. The things that are not only ruining people’s lives but are also forcing them to take their lives. Amay Patnaik has to know all these. In front of Amay, not only Dadabhai and his goons, but also the people of the banquet who considers Dadabhai as their God. In such a situation, Amay is trapped from all sides and he is separated on his job.

Direction

If you have seen Raj Kumar Gupta’s film ‘Red’, then you will remember that most of the film was limited to showing the story inside the house of Tauji (Saurabh Shukla) after killing Red. Tauji was very vicious, but his family got him divided. But things are more interesting in this film because Dadabhai is also Shana from Tauji. He has the skills to disappear overnight and people, and due to this many big twists come in Red 2. Raj Kumar Gupta, along with his writers team Ritesh Shah, Jaideep Yadav, Karan Vyas and Akshat Tiwari, has prepared a good story, whose twist and turns are also fun. And then Raj Kumar Gupta, showing his skills, has given his story on screen well, which is a comfort-up. You will also get up after listening to this money song in the climax of the film. This is a sample of the best vision of the director.

Acting

More than one actor has been taken in the picture. Ajay Devgan played Amay Patnaik well. They fits perfectly in the role. Looking at them, it seems that they are really amay. Vani Kapoor’s work in the role of Malini Patnaik is also good. He did not get to do anything too much, but he did well. It also looked a little more beautiful in every frame. Talking about the villain of the picture, Ritesh Deshmukh had told the film in a villain that he is a very good bad boy. In this film too, he has played both the forms of Dadabhai – good and bad.

Apart from Ajay and Ritesh, the film stars Rajat Kapoor, Amit Sial, Brijendra Kala, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, Shruti Pandey, Govind Namdev and Yashpal Sharma. Everyone played their characters well. It was nice to see Saurabh Shukla in Red 2. But the most fun came to see Lallan Sudhir, the character of Amit Sial. Lallan’s dialogues and actions are so funny that you will fall in love with him. Lallan, who arrived at His Majesty Dadabhai’s house on the first day of duty, says that he is ‘that ignorant vegetable of the day, which is taken out after 10 in the night’. He is also a lota of bin pande. In the film, Funny Moments bring Amit Sial and Saurabh Shukla, which is necessary for the audience in the ongoing picture. Picture’s editing is crisp and its songs are also fine. Like every film, ‘Red 2’ also has shortcomings, but you can enjoy it by igniting them.
