Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Director General Mrityunjay Mahapatra warned that there will be more rain than normal (167.9 mm) in September.
The highest threats are in Uttarakhand, where landslides and floods are likely to occur. There may be heavy rains in Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi.
On the other hand, Haryana has high alert on floods. The Ghaggar River in Sirsa is at Danger level. The Markanda river overflow in Yamuna in Faridabad and Kurukshetra are running. There will be heavy rain for the next 24 hours.
