Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Director General Mrityunjay Mahapatra warned that there will be more rain than normal (167.9 mm) in September.

The highest threats are in Uttarakhand, where landslides and floods are likely to occur. There may be heavy rains in Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi.
