The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Meghalaya Police, which is investigating the murder of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, has recreated the crime scene with all the accused on Tuesday. Along with this, a team has gone to Indore to find out that there is no financial motive behind the murder. The police brought all the accused of murder, including Sonam, wife of Raja Raghuvanshi, to Sohra, about 65 km from Shillong and recreated the crime scene amid tight security.
Superintendent of Police Vivek Sim said, “Our team is in Indore and is questioning some people. They are trying to find out if anyone has benefited from the death of King Raghuvanshi. The flat has been raided in which Sonam stopped after running from the Meghalaya, but he got empty. The team of SIT will find out the background. The SIT will find out the background. Are.”
Director General of Police I Nongrang, who is closely monitoring the case, had earlier said that SIT is also considering other possible aspects of the murder of Raghuvanshi. According to SP Vivek Sim, the SIT visited many places in Sohra during the day. There have been shocking revelations about the murder during the recruiting of the crime scene. In this, a policeman played the role of Raja Raghuvanshi. All the accused were in their respective role.
The SP said, “Three stars were made. The first war was carried out by Vishal while Sonam was in front of him. It was a big war in which the accused used both hands. Then Anand did the second attack and the last war was done by Akash.” The killers also told the SIT that they used two knives, one of which has been recovered. Police personnel are searching with a metal detector in the forest under the valley to find the second knife.
According to the police, Raja Kushwaha is the mastermind of the murder, but he did not come to Meghalaya. The SP said that the accused had coincidentally chosen Sohra for the crime. They wanted to kill in Nongriat, where the couple had checked in a homestay, but could not do so, because they could not find a suitable place to hide the body. After going to the crime scene, Sonam has expressed regret over her actions like any other criminal.
The entire crime site was siege from 9 am before the arrival of the SIT and all the accused. Raja and Sonam went missing in the Sohra hills on 23 May. The king’s body was recovered on 2 June. After the murder, Sonam reached Indore via Assam, West Bengal, Bihar and UP. However, he left his ‘mangalsutra’ and a ring in his trolley bag in a homestay in Sohra, which made the police suspicious. He surrendered in Ghazipur.
Let us tell you that the Meghalaya Police came to know on June 3 and 4 that Sonam is involved in the murder. During his investigation, the police arrested her lover Raj Kushwaha from Indore. Vishal alias Vicky Thakur, who was involved in the conspiracy, was caught from Indore, while Akash Rajput was arrested from Lalitpur in UP, Anand was caught from Bina in Madhya Pradesh. Only after this, Sonam surrendered in Ghazipur. After this, he created a false story of kidnapping.
The police asked him, “Why did the king get killed?” Sonam was silent first and then said, “I did not commit any murder, I was kidnapped.” But when the police showed proof of CCTV footage and his presence with betel nut, Sonam broke. He confessed crying, “Yes, I know all three and I killed the king.” The police had also encouraged Sonam and lover Raj. The police have strong evidence against the accused.
