Raja raghuwanshi murder case: In the famous King Raghuvanshi murder case of Meghalaya, the Shillong police have made a big disclosure about the five accused arrested. According to the police, Raj Kushwaha is the mastermind of this murder. It was not a contract killing, but a dangerous story of personal rivalry and deception, which Raj Kushwaha was composed by his friends for the festival.
Start of murder: The game was getting ready from February
SP Vivek Syem said that the murder plan started from February 2025 itself. Raj had tried twice to disappear Sonam. First he planned to throw Sonam into the river. By bringing the body of a woman, he wished a false view of suicide by burning Sonam’s scooty, but both of her efforts failed.
Stress increased after marriage, new plan made
On May 11, Sonam got married to King Raghuvanshi. After this, the couple reached Guwahati to visit Kamakhya Temple. Here Raj made the next plan to murder with three friends Vishal, Anand and Akash. Attempts were made to murder in Guwahati, but he could not succeed.
May 19: murder in Sohra
Raj and his partner reached Sohra (Cherrapunji), where Sonam was already present. Sonam and all three accused were found in the parking lot. The king was killed there. The body was thrown into a deep ditch. All the accused left from there at 2:18 pm. Sonam gave her raincoat to her due to blood on Akash’s shirt. Akash threw the raincoat near AV Point. Anand left Scooty on behalf of Raja near the Sohra border.
Complete plan to escape after murder
After the murder, Sonam had already kept the entire plan to escape. He wore a burqa which Raj sent through Vishal. Sonam reached Guwahati by taxi and took a bus from there and reached Siliguri. Then reached Indore via Patna, Ara, Lucknow respectively. As soon as the police detained an accused, Raj got information.
Raj called Sonam and said, “Wherever you are, call your home and say that you have come back from the clutches of the kidnappers.” The Shillong police have taken action and arrested all the five accused, including Raj (Mastermind), Sonam (wife of Raja Raghuvanshi) and Vishal, Anand, Akash. According to the police, the inquiry is going on. The crime scene will soon be repeated on the basis of all statements and developments so that the case can be presented firmly in the court.
