CCTV footage claims to get new clues
A new clue has come out in the knot related to the newly married couple Raja Raghuvanshi and Sonam Raghuvanshi in Shillong, Meghalaya. In a new CCTV footage of May 22, both of them have been seen coming to a scooty outside a hotel in Shillong. They keep suitcases in the hotel and then go out to roam on the same scooty. The same scooty was later recovered in unclaimed condition near the body of King Raghuvanshi.

In the 4 -minute 53 -second CCTV footage released by Shillong’s ‘T7 News Channel’, it can be clearly seen that on May 22, Raja and Sonam reached the hotel in normal condition. Both of them kept their bag there and then rode on scooty. In the footage, Sonam is seen wearing a raincoat and white shirt, which matches the shirt found near the king’s body. Sonam’s raincoat also appears to be the same as later recovered during the search operation. This footage confirms that both were together on 22 May and everything seemed normal at that time.

Married on 11 May 2025
Raja and Sonam married on 11 May 2025 and left for Meghalaya for a honeymoon on 20 May. On 22 May, both of them stayed in Shipara Home Stay in Mavalkhiat village of Shillong. Both went missing since the checkout from home stay on the morning of 23 May. On May 24, his scooty was found in unclaimed condition in Sohrim area. After this, on June 2, the body of the king was recovered from a deep ditch near Weisavadong waterfall, which confirmed his murder. However, Sonam has not been detected so far.
