On 25 July, part of the building of Piplodi Government School in Manorathana block fell. 21 children were injured in this, 9 of which still remain critical. The children admitted to SRG Hospital in Jhalawar had met the Minister of Education and Panchayati Raj Dilawar.
On the other hand, the Education Department suspended 5 teachers including the head master of the school. On the question of the responsibility of the incident, Education Minister Madan Dilawar said- I am responsible.
After the accident, the villagers sitting on a dharna at Burari intersection of Manoharathana also pelted stones at the policemen. During this time police vehicles were vandalized.
The first king Meena was sitting on a dharna outside Jhalawar Hospital. Before the former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje arrived, the police had lathi -charged and detained Naresh Meena and his supporters.
On the other hand, there is mourning in Piplodi (Jhalawar) village. Today (Saturday), the bodies of children will be brought to the village. Preparations for the funeral are going on. The bodies of all the children who lost their lives in the accident were kept in Manorathana Hospital.
