The Uttar Pradesh government has appointed Rajiv Krishna, a 1991 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Rajiv Krishna, the Director General of Police (DGP) of the state. Rajiv Krishna is currently working in the post of Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board and DG Vigilance. Now he has been given the command of the state police system.
Rajiv Krishna is considered a fast-paced and experienced officer. During his service, he has played a role in strengthening the law and order of the state while holding many important positions. His image is known as a strict but sensitive officer.
