Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, the pattern of Pahalgam terror attack was like the previous terrorist attacks of Lashkar-e-Taiba in India. On 7 May 2025, India carried out Operation Sindoor, using its right to stop terrorist attacks from across the border.

Some countries consider terrorism across the border as their policy and shelters terrorists. Then deny it. There should be no place for such double standard. They have to understand that now the episoders of terrorism are not safe.

Rajnath Singh said these things in the SCO (Shanghai Co-operation Organization) meeting in Kingdao, China on Thursday. Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif was also present in this meeting. Rajnath said, SCO should not hesitate to criticize such countries.
