He also refused to sign SCO’s joint statement. Because it did not include a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, while Pakistan’s terrorist incident in Balochistan was mentioned. India expressed displeasure with this.
Rajnath Singh said in the meeting, ‘Some countries consider terrorism across the border as their policy. They give shelter to terrorists. Then deny it. There should be no place for such double standard. They have to understand that now the episoders of terrorism are not safe.
Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif also attended a meeting of Defense Ministers of Shanghai Co-Operation Organization (SCO) held in Kingdao, China.

The Defense Minister also said that those who spread terrorism, whether they attack, give money or organize it from across the border, should be punished and brought before the law.

What is sco Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is a regional international organization founded in 2001 by China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Later India and Pakistan became its members in 2017 and Iran also became a member in 2023.
The SCO aims to increase security, economic and political cooperation among the member countries. The organization formulates a shared strategy on issues like terrorism, extremism, drug smuggling and cyber crime.
