Attack on Hindu community in Bangladesh
The attacks on the Hindu community and their places of worship in Bangladesh are not hidden from anyone. India has been raising this issue on the international platform. The United Nations report released in February this year was also mentioned that the attacks of violent mob attacks on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh had already started before Sheikh Hasina fled to India. The report also revealed that Ahmadiyas Muslims and indigenous groups also faced atrocities in Bangladesh along with Hindus as well as in Chittagong Hill Tracts.
The report said that during the protests and then in the Chittagong mountain region, violent attacks were carried out by crowds on Hindu community, Ahmadiyya Muslims and members of local groups, including burning houses and attacks on places of worship.
