The Mumbai Police has arrested a female teacher teaching in a prestigious school, who is accused of sexual abuse, video recording and harassment along with a minor student. This incident lasted for about a year. On Wednesday, the court sent the accused teacher to another day police custody. According to police officials, there will be a psychological test of the teacher on Thursday. The court extended the duration of custody keeping this test in mind. According to sources, the school management had asked the teacher to resign on getting information about the illegal acts of the teacher, although the school officials have denied knowing about it.
How did the story start?
The matter came to light in early 2024. The accused teacher used to teach English in school and was directing a drama. The victim was 16 years old at that time and the play was part of the team. According to the complaint, the teacher started sexually abusing the student from that time and interacted several times. Later, the victim did not respond to his message several times, after which the teacher sought help from one of her female friends. The female friend is co-accused in this case and is absconding. He contacted the victim and explained to him that nowadays it is normal for teenagers to have a relationship with older women. He pressured the victim to have a relationship with the teacher.
This is how sexual abuse started
After the pressure of co-accused, the teacher took the victim student on a walk in his Volkswagen car and took him to a secluded place and sexually abused her. This happened many times and later took the teacher the victim to Juhu, near the airport and to five star hotels in South Mumbai, where she repeatedly exploited by drinking alcohol. She used to tell the victim student that she is made for each other and she loves her very much.
The victim student went into depression
The 16 -year -old victim went into depression due to continuous exploitation. He started to remain silent and lost. His parents tried to talk to him after seeing his changed situation. Initially the victim did not say anything, but later he told about the exploitation of his teacher. He also told that the teacher also gave him medicines to get out of depression. At that time, the parents felt that the son would pass the exam and leave the school, so he did not complain then.
Female teacher was restless to meet
When the victim student stopped responding to the teacher’s message and phone, she became restless. He sent his servant to the victim’s house and gave a message to meet him. Seeing this, the victim told her parents everything. The parents immediately approached the police and filed a complaint.
Female teacher’s partner absconding
A case was registered against the accused teacher under the Poxo Act (Protection of Children’s Sexual Abuse Act), sections of the Indian Penal Code and other relevant sections. The teacher was arrested on Saturday, while the co-accused friend is absconding.
