The next day of RCB’s victory, ie on June 4, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Legislative Saudh M.N. Karibaswana Gowda wrote a letter to the government. In this, he said that millions of cricket fans are expected to come and it is difficult to arrange security so soon. He also said that there are very few CCTV cameras around and in front of the essential place like Vidhan Saudh.
Questions arising on Karnataka government
After the incident, a lot of questions are being raised about the poor preparation of the rally on the state government. In this program in Chinnaswamy Stadium and Vidhan Saudh, there was a stampede due to huge crowd, in which 11 people died. It also included a 14 -year -old girl. So far four people have been arrested, including a marketing officer of RCB.
Big disclosure made by police letter
NDTV quoted a police letter, saying, “The police had informed that celebrating the victory of RCB in Vidhan Saudh is not empty of danger. The police had already warned the government that it would be difficult to handle such a crowd. There are less security employees in Vidhan Saudh and there are no more CCTV cameras.”
According to the letter, the police had said that millions of fans can come and more time and preparation for security. He also spoke about calling police from outside and coordination with the traffic and law department. The police also drew attention to some other important things, stating, “The possibility of blowing drone cameras was expected by the people, so the police advised to install anti-drain system there.”
Police appealed to the government before the incident
Police said that the families of the employees of the secretariat should not be allowed to come to the program. It was written in the letter that since the program is on June 4 at 4 pm, many employees can bring their family. Therefore, the government was requested to stop the employees from bringing the family and declare a half -day holiday in the secretariat. “
The police officer also said that Vidhan Saudh is a historic building, so there is no loss in the program, it is important to take special care of it. Everything should be under safety rules. However, he also said that whatever the final decision the government will take, it will be followed.

After the stampede incident on 4 June, an FIR has been lodged against RCB, DNA Entertainment and Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), including sections of culpable homicide.
