Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a high-level meeting on the preparations for the upcoming Mahashivratri, Holi, Chaitra Navratri, Ramnavami, Ramadan, Navroz and other festivals. During this, he issued strict instructions regarding security and law and order and said that public faith will get full respect, but chaos will not be accepted.
Chief Minister Yogi said that daily wage earners have an important role in making Mahakumbh successful. Therefore, there should be no delay in their honorarium payment. Outsourcing agencies have also been instructed to release the salary immediately.
During the meeting, CM Yogi instructed that there will be prayers on Friday on the day of Holi, so the police-administration remained alert. CM said that additional police force should be deployed in sensitive areas. PRV 112 and social media monitoring should be kept active. Immediate action should be taken by any chaotic element to spread communal tension.
At the same time, 15-25 lakh devotees are expected to come to Kashi Vishwanath Dham on Mahashivaratri. Regarding this, Chief Minister Yogi instructed that the cleanliness and lighting of the temple should be ensured. Prepare a traffic plan to control the crowd of devotees. The procession of the akhadas came out smoothly, the common devotees can also see it smoothly.
Instructions for strict action on illegal intruders and illegal constructions
CM Yogi directed to take action by identifying the intruders and Rohingya Muslims who were illegally living. Also said that illegal taxi stands and encroachments on the road should be removed immediately. Street vendors should not be jammed, it should be strictly monitored.
Action on illegal loudspeakers at shrines
Chief Minister Yogi said that immediate action should be taken on illegal bug loudspeakers at the religious places. The sound of loudspeakers should not go outside the Dharmasthal premises. If the rules are being violated, then loudspeakers should be removed by giving notice to the concerned. The Chief Minister directed that the procession and cleanliness of the routes of religious processions should be ensured. Special attention should be paid to the safety of women and children. During religious events, any untoward incident should be stopped from the quick action of the police-administration.
