Rishabh Pant to Equal Don Bradman Record: There is another big record on the target of Indian team’s star wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant. Pant is close to Don Bradman’s record of scoring three consecutive centuries in England.

New Delhi. Indian wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant exploded in the first match of the 5 -match Test series against England. In both the innings of the Test played in Leeds, he recorded his name in the record book. Now Rishabh Pant has a chance to match the record of Australia veteran Don Bradman. He is just a distance of a century by scoring three consecutive centuries in Tests on England soil. Pant has returned to form since scoring a century in the last match of the Indian Premier League.

Rishabh Pant has started the tour of England by scoring 134 and 118 runs in the first Test played in Leeds. He is now India’s first and just second wicketkeeper batsman to score a century in both innings. Andy Flower of Zimbabwe was the first wicketkeeper to do this feat.
Rishabh Pant has so far scored 808 runs in England at an average of 42.52, including four centuries. His biggest score on England soil is 146 runs, which was scored in Edgbaston in 2022 off 111 balls. If he also scored a century in Edgbaston, then only the seventh foreign batsman to score a century in three consecutive Tests in England. This special list includes Don Bradman, Warren Bardsley, Charles Macartney, Brian Lara, Rahul Dravid and Derryl Michelle. Dravid is the only Indian to join this list. In 2002, The Wall achieved this feat.
