The body of Sanjeev Singh (35), son of RJD city president Raju Singh (35), was found lying in the bushes in Sarairanjan police station area of Samastipur district of Bihar. Sanjeev left his house on Saturday evening and did not return till late night. The family tried to contact his mobile several times, but the call was not received. On Sunday morning, Sanjeev’s body and his bike were recovered nearby in the bushes near the Saraiya bridge located in NH-322.
A large number of people gathered on the spot as soon as they got information about the incident. Angry relatives and villagers blocked Sarairanjan Patna Main Road alleging murder. Traffic was interrupted for hours due to the jam and the atmosphere remained tense. The protesters demanded early arrest of the accused and disclosure of the case.

On information, Sadar DSP Sanjay Pandey reached the spot with the police force and tried to convince the angry people. He said that every point will be investigated on the written complaint of the family. By calling the FSL team, the scene is being closely investigated. The DSP said that the mobile of the deceased has not been recovered yet and he is being searched.
The body has been sent for post -mortem and the reports of doctors will know the cause of death. The deceased Sanjeev Singh used to run a shop of Public Distribution System (PDS). Family members allege that the body was killed and thrown into the bushes. At the same time, the police said that the matter is being investigated from every angle. After assuring people, the road jam ended and traffic was restored.
At present, the police have made a circle around the spot and the investigation is on. There is an atmosphere of resentment and panic in the area due to the murder of Sanjeev Singh. The family is adamant on demanding the early arrest of the killers.
