Pakistan News: On Thursday, a soldier was killed in a rocket attack on a convoy of 35 vehicles carrying food and medical supplies in Pakistan’s communal violence-hit Kurram district, while Six ‘terrorists’ were killed. At least 130 people have died in communal clashes between Shia and Sunni tribes since November. According to the district administration and police, on Thursday, a convoy of 35 vehicles had left from Thal city for Parachinar in Kurram. As soon as the first vehicle reached Bagan Bazaar, the convoy was attacked with rockets and automatic weapons. According to Additional Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ali, security forces responded to the attack in which one soldier was killed and six ‘terrorists’ were killed.

He said that four soldiers and 10 terrorists were injured in the attack and three vehicles of the convoy were damaged.
