A new controversy has arisen in the politics of the country after advocating the removal of the word ‘socialist’ and ‘secular’ from the Preamble of the Constitution by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) general secretary Dattatreya Hosbale. The opposition is constantly surrounded the RSS and BJP. In this sequence, now the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi alleged that RSS-BJP needs Manusmriti, not the constitution.
In fact, during an event in Delhi on Thursday, Dattatreya Hosbale said that during the Emergency in 1976, the words ‘socialist’ and ‘secular’ were forcibly added to the constitution and now the time has come to remove them. The words ‘socialist’ and ‘secular’ added through the 42nd amendment are artificial and they should be removed from the Constitution.
About this, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wrote on X (East Twitter), “The mask of RSS has come down again. The Constitution pricks them because he talks about equality, secularism and justice. RSS-BJP needs a constitution, not a constitution.
RSS stop dreaming this. We will never let them succeed. Every patriot Indian will protect the constitution till the last power. “
Protection shield for constitution citizens: Chandrashekhar Azad
Azad National Party President Chandrashekhar Azad said that this constitution is a protection shield for all citizens. There is no doubt that some words were added through amendment in 1976, but the soul of the Constitution was never hostage of any party or ideology. Baba Saheb Ambedkar had also said that if the intention of those who applied the constitution will be clear, then it will prove to be the best constitution in the world.
