Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat had attended a program in Pune on 19 December. Here he said that India needs to show that we can live together.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) mouthpiece Panchjanya has supported the statement of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on the temple-mosque dispute. The magazine wrote in an editorial that some people are promoting temples for their political interests and are presenting themselves as Hindu thinkers.
Hitesh Shankar, editor of Panchjanya, wrote in the editorial ‘What kind of riot is this on temples’ – Use of temples for political gains is not acceptable. It should not be made a political weapon. Bhagwat’s statement is a call for deep vision and social conscience.
Mohan Bhagwat had said in Pune on December 19 that after the construction of Ram temple, some people feel that they can become leaders of Hindus by raising such issues in new places. Every day a new case is being raised. How can this be allowed? India needs to show that we can live together.
However, RSS’s English mouthpiece Organizer had a different opinion from Mohan Bhagwat. The magazine called it a fight to know historical truth and civilizational justice.
Mohan Bhagwat had given this statement on 19 December in Pune.
Panchjanya’s editorial in 5 points
- After Bhagwat’s statement, a fight-like situation has arisen in the media. Either it is being created intentionally. There are many meanings being drawn from one clear statement. Bhagwat’s statement was a clear appeal to the society to deal with the issue sensibly.
- It is worrying to encourage unnecessary debate and misleading propaganda on these issues. Social media has further increased this. Some anti-social elements consider themselves socially intelligent. They are exploiting the sentiments of the society on social media. It is important to stay away from such inconsistent thinkers.
- India is the name of a civilization and culture, which has not only been teaching the principle of unity in diversity for thousands of years, but has also adopted it in life.
- In today’s time, it is worrying to use issues related to temples as a political weapon. Sarsanghchalak has expressed serious concern over this trend. This approach shows that Hindu society should avoid political fights, personal glorification and controversies while preserving its cultural heritage.
- Bhagwat’s message awakens a deep social consciousness. It reminds us that instead of festering the wounds of history, we should promote a sense of harmony and harmony in society while preserving our cultural values.
Organizer’s opinion is different, said- not a fight for religious supremacy, but a fight for civilizational justice.
Prafulla Ketkar, editor of RSS’s English mouthpiece Organiser, has written in an editorial that this fight to know the historical truth from Somnath to Sambhal and beyond is not about religious supremacy. This is a fight to reaffirm our national identity and for civilizational justice.
The magazine accused Congress of exploiting castes for electoral gains. Ketkar writes that Congress delayed in providing social justice to the castes. Whereas Ambedkar went to the root cause of caste-based discrimination and made constitutional arrangements to remove it. Read the full news…
