RSS spokesperson Sunil Ambekar gave information about the meeting at the press conference on Thursday.
The meeting of the province campaigners of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will start in Delhi from today and will run till July 6. It will have 233 people associated with the Sangh and its associate organizations. BJP’s organization general secretary BL Santosh will also attend the meeting.
The event to be held at the Delhi -based Union Office Keshav Kunj will make the preface of the Constitution and the new BJP president election outline. The Sangh is preparing to tease a nationwide discussion on the justification of the words ‘secular’ and ‘socialist’ in the Constitution.
The RSS meeting is taking place at a time when the election of BJP’s national president is to be held in about 15 days. It is believed that the final agreement will be reached in this meeting regarding the next president of BJP, after which the party can announce the election date of its president.
Hosbale had said- Socialist-secular words should be debated in the Constitution
In the ’50 Year of Emergency’ program, RSS General Secretary Hosbale said without naming the Congress, ‘Two words secularism and socialism were added to the preamble of the Constitution of India during the Emergency. These were not in the preamble of the constitution earlier. Later there was no attempt to remove them. Both types of sides were discussed. So should these words remain in the constitution? It should be considered.
He said, ‘The Constitution was murdered during the Emergency and the independence of the judiciary was abolished. During the Emergency, more than one lakh people were imprisoned, more than 250 journalists were imprisoned, 60 lakh people were forcibly sterilized. Nadda’s term ended in June 2024
The term of JP Nadda as a national president has ended on June 2024. He is on extension. At the same time, he is also a minister in the central government, due to which the BJP is preparing to choose a new president soon.
JP Nadda was made the Executive Chairman in 2019 and became the national president of the BJP in January 2020.
BJP elected state president in 9 states in 2 days
The BJP elected the new state president in 9 states in the beginning of July. After this, the picture of the election of the national president has become clear. According to the BJP’s Constitution, the national president is elected only after elections in 50% states.
Currently, BJP has 37 recognized state units. Of these, the president has been elected in 14 states so far. The president of 19 states will be elected on Wednesday. National President can be selected in July.
