The police stopped Chandrashekhar Azad, MP from Nagina and Azad Samaj Party leader, from going to Isota village in Prayagraj on Sunday. He was going to meet the family of a young man here, who died due to burning. After being stopped by the police, his supporters erupted and created a ruckus. During this time two police vehicles were vandalized.

Death died due to burning on 13 April
The deceased has been identified as Devishankar, who died of burning on 13 April. The family of the deceased alleges that he was burnt alive. Chandrashekhar Azad wanted to go to Isota village to meet the relatives of the deceased. But when he reached the circuit house of Prayagraj and started leaving for the village, the police stopped him from security reasons.

Dial 112 car damaged
DCP (Yamunanagar) Vivek Chandra Yadav said that a large number of Azad Samaj Party workers had already gathered in Isota village. When he received information that Chandrashekhar would not come to the village, he started throwing stones. During this, a vehicle of Dial 112 and another vehicle was damaged by the crowd.

Police removed the mob
However, the police immediately took over the front and controlled the situation and removed the crowd from there. The police are now identifying the miscreants who participated in sabotage and stone pelting. A case will be registered against him soon.

Police officials say that Chandrashekhar Azad was stopped to maintain peace, so that there is no untoward incident. The administration is completely monitoring the situation and security system has also been increased in the village.
