The month of July is going to start from today and many major changes have also been implemented in the country since 1 July 2025. Some are relieved in these, some are going to increase the burden on pockets. The effect of these changes is going to be on every pocket, because these changes are connected with the kitchen of the house to the train journey. If you look at the major of the changes implemented, on the first date of the month, where oil marketing companies have given a gift of LPG cylinder prices (LPG Cylinder Price Cut), then the Indian Railways has shocked the increase in train fares. Along with this, a lot is changing for credit card users from today. Five such big changes are known.
First: LPG cylinder becomes cheaper
The month of July (July 2025) has started with a relief news and oil marketing companies have released new prices of LPG cylinders since 1 July 2025, in which LPG Price Cut has been done. It has become cheaper in all cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata to Chennai. However, companies have not made any change in the price of 14 kg domestic gas cylinders, but the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders has reduced. After this, instead of Rs 1723.50 in Delhi, it will now be reduced by Rs 1665, Rs 1826 in Kolkata, Rs 1674.50 in Mumbai to Rs 1616.50 and in Chennai, now Rs 1823.50 instead of Rs 1881.
Second: Railway increased fare
Talking about the second change in the beginning of July, it is going to give a shock. Actually, since 1 July 2025, Indian Railways has implemented the Railway Hike Train Fare. After a long time this has been increased in rail fares and under this, the fares of non-AC mail and express trains have been announced by 1 paise per kilometer, while the AC class has been announced by 2 paise per kilometer. For traveling up to 500 km, there will be no change in second class train ticket prices, if the distance is more than 500 kilometers, then half the money will have to be paid per kilometer.
If Indian Railway has implemented another change from today itself, then the Tatkal ticket of the train is related to booking. In fact, now from July 1, Tatkal Ticket Booking will be able to do only such users who have verified the Aadhaar card number (Aadhaar Number) with their IRCTC Account.
Third: HDFC Credit Card Rule
From July 1, a lot is changing for users using the credit card of HDFC Bank. HDFC Bank had announced to pay extra fees for the credit card from the first date. Under this, the credit card will charge 1 percent in digital wallets (Paytm, Mobikwik, Freecharge or Ola Money) for adding more than Rs 10,000 in a month. If you look at other changes in the banking sector, then a charge of Rs 23 will be applicable on any withdrawal after the free transaction limit from ICICI Bank ATM.
Fourth: Aadhaar compulsory for PAN
In today’s time, if there is any financial work, then PAN Card is required. The fourth change, which is coming into effect from July 1, is associated with this. Aadhaar Card Authentication is being made compulsory for those applying for new PAN card. According to the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), PAN card will no longer be applied without Aadhaar verification. Earlier, any legitimate identity card and birth certificate used to work.
Fifth: No Fuel for these vehicles in Delhi
In the changes being implemented from the first day of July, the fifth capital is for drivers in Delhi, because now vehicles who have finished their lives will not be able to get petrol-diesel at any petrol pump. According to the order of the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), now Delhi will not be allowed to take fuel on petrol pumps more than 10 years old diesel vehicles and more than 15 years old petrol vehicles.
