Russia has done a big deal with Pakistan, will help in these matters, know what will increase India’s tension

Pakistan is busy in increasing its proximity with India’s friendly country Russia. In this episode, Pakistan has signed a new agreement with Russia. The Pakistani Embassy in Russia said on Friday (July 11, 2025) that Pakistan and Russia have signed a protocol to resume Pakistan Steel Mill (PSM) in Karachi. The Pakistani Embassy has re -confirmed the long -term industrial partnership between Pakistan and Russia after signing the agreement.

The agreement was signed at the Pakistani Embassy in Moscow, the capital of Russia, where Industry and Production Secretary Saif Anjum from Pakistan and industrial engineering LLC General Director Vadim Velichko signed from Russia. At the same time, during this agreement, Special Secretary to the Prime Minister of Pakistan (SAPM) in Russia, Aaron Akhtar Khan and Pakistani Ambassador to Russia Muhammad Khalid Jamali were also present.

What did the special secretary of Pakistani PM say,

This agreement has been done with the aim of resumption and expanding steel production at PSM in Karachi, Pakistan. Meanwhile, SAPM Aaron Akhtar Khan said, “Refuying Pakistan Steel Mill (PSM) in collaboration with Russia shows our shared history and our commitment to a strong industrial future.”

According to the Russian Embassy in Russia, Pakistan’s Karachi -based Pakistan Steel Mill (PSM) was established in 1973 with the help of the Soviet Union, which remains a permanent symbol of Pakistan and Russia’s relations.

Road and rail will be expanded between Pakistan and Russia

At the same time, Pakistan and Russia have agreed to develop rail and road networks to connect the South Asian country with Central Asia and Russia earlier this month, which will help Landlock countries to get direct access to sea routes.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan Communications Minister Abdul Alim Khan and Russia’s Transport Deputy Minister Andrei Sergeevich Nikitin met during the ministerial conference of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held in Tianjin, China. During this meeting, the two leaders agreed to speed up the development of infrastructure to promote trade and economic integration in the area.
