Russia launched a large -scale drone and missile attack on the Ukraine capital Kiev in the early hours of Tuesday, killing 14 people and injured 44 others. This information has been given by the Ministry of Home Affairs of Ukraine. The attack is one of the most deadly attacks on Kiev in recent months in the Russia-Ukraine War.
Ukraine’s Home Minister Ihor Climenco told through the Telegram messaging app that a ballistic missile targeted a nine -storey residential building in Kiev’s Solomanski district, which completely destroyed a part.
‘Relief and rescue work continues’
He said that emergency services are working fast in search of possible people trapped in the debris. Climankco reported that this attack has damaged residential buildings, educational institutions and important infrastructure.
According to the report of the Reuters, drones were seen hovering over the capital and the sound of missiles was heard. The warning of air attack remained in force for more than seven hours.
According to local officials, apart from Kiev, other parts of the country were also attacked, in which a person was injured in a area outside the capital and 13 people were injured in the southern Odessa area.
