Even after the death of his father, he decided to land on the ground to play the World Cup for the country. Apart from this, there is another story that less people know. In his autobiography ‘Playing It My Way’, Sachin Tendulkar made a shocking disclosure. During the 2003 ICC World Cup, he batted by placing tissue paper in his underwear for 160 minutes in a match played against Sri Lanka in Johannesburg.
Master became ill before playing the match against Sri Lanka in the Blaster World Cup. His stomach was upset and the condition was so bad, he was feeling difficult to run due to weakness. There was a danger of his pants deteriorating due to excessive emphasis. Tendulkar was struggling with stomach upset, due to which he had to go to the dressing room again and again during the drink break.
