John Abraham has played many magnificent roles in his career. But in the 2004 film ‘Dhoom’, his character was liked by everyone. That was the first time that the film showed a thriller bike chassing sequence and badas action from Bollywood. In ‘Dhoom’, many girls were stuck on John’s long hair and stylish bike chasing scenes. One of them was also an actress Sadia Khatib, whose actor had a crush on the actor.
Special conversation of India Today/Aaj Tak with Sadia Khatib
In a special conversation with India Today/Aaj Tak, Sadia arrived with her co-star John Abraham where she shared a funny anecdote associated with the actor. Sadia told that she had a crush on John after ‘Dhoom’ and she used to call the actor her boyfriend in her school. The actress told, ‘I used to study in fourth class in school when I saw Dhoom and then I met Kabir’s character. Since then, I fell in love with that bike part and Kabir. I remember I went to school and used to speak in front of my friends and everyone that I have a boyfriend named Kabir. He rides a bike and has long hair. Everyone had believed that there is a boy named Kabir in Kashmir.
Sadia laughed forward and explained the reason for making this whole story. He said, ‘There was never any Kabir there. I just fooled people for a long time through this story. But Kabir was the most important part in my life for a long time. He was a fictional character who was sitting in my mind till the sixth grade. But then my friends also came to know that I was fooling them for so long.
Sadia Khatib started her Bollywood career with Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film ‘Shikara’. After this, she was also seen in Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Rakshabandhan’.
