New Delhi. The defeat against India in the Asia Cup final was a slap on Pakistan’s mouth. Even after the victory, Team India did not take the trophy from the hand of Mohsin Naqvi, Chief of Pakistan Cricket Board. Pakistan captain Salman Ali Aga threw the runner-up check after a close defeat in the Asia Cup 2025 final against India. In the title match, Tilak Verma chased India’s target of 147 runs by scoring an unbeaten 69 runs. The team defeated Pakistan for the third consecutive time in the tournament and it could have been seen on the face of the neighboring country.
Pakistan came out to bat first, but the end was shameful. The entire team collapsed for just 146 runs. Kuldeep Yadav once again broke havoc on Pak batsmen. Tilak broke the hopes of Pakistan’s victory, sharing 57 and 60 runs with Sanju Samson (24) and Shivam Dubey (33). Aga was clearly disappointed after his team’s third consecutive defeat against India in his team tournament.
