In the Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, the insurance fraud scandal was revealed in the past. The police exposed the vicious gang spread in 12 states of the country, which had grabbed the insurance amount of about 100 crores. After this incident, now the Sambhal police, along with representatives of 58 insurance companies of the country to prevent the fraud of the insurance sector, also joined the Director of Financial Services Department of Finance Ministry.
In the Conclave, Sambhal police officials churned about how to prevent such fraud in future. After a long panel discussion in the conclave between police and insurance sector companies, a large SOP will now be prepared, so that the fraud spread in 12 states of the country can be prevented from moving forward.

In fact, since 17 January 2025, Sambhal police was continuously working on exposing a big fraud in the insurance sector. Recently, the police disclosed how a big fraud is going on to grab the amount of millions of rupees of insurance claim by taking the last breath in the district and insuring the dead people. It was also told how the incidents of murder were also being carried out to grab the amount of claim by insuring people by a gang in Sambhal district. In a case, the murder was shown to be a road accident incident which was busted by the police.
The fraud of the insurance sector is being exposed by the back to back Sambhal police. So far, more than 100 crores fraud has been revealed. Its network is spread over 12 states of the country. ED has also entered the case recently. The case has been taken over by the ED. In the midst of all this, work has been started by the Sambhal police on the new routemap to prevent the frauds spread in 12 states from moving on the mafia of insurance fraud. After getting the green signal from the UP Police Headquarters, the district police did ‘Insurance Conclave’ with 58 insurance companies. Officers and representatives of all insurance companies operated across the country participated in it.

In this conclave, the Director of the Department of Finance of Finance, Mandakini Bal, also joined online. As soon as the conclave started, ASP Southern IPS Anukreethy Sharma informed the insurance company officials about the insurance fraud revelations through the presentation. Regarding the different Modes of the gang, the upperland also told how this gang not only grabbed the claim in the name of the sick people but also killed people for insurance by giving the form of accident.

It was told that more than 17 people were arrested by registering more than 17 cases by Sambhal police. After this, the Director of the Department of Financial Services in the Conclave told about the various steps being taken by the government in the insurance sector and said that it is the priority of the government that all classes get the benefit of financial services but the government is also serious on fraud control. Many important suggestions were also revealed in the panel discussion of police and insurance companies in the conclave. After which, now the police will also prepare a new SOP with insurance companies to prevent the fraud spread in the insurance sector. SP KK Bishnoi was praised in the program. He said in his address that this is not a careful but a changing face of Uttar Pradesh Police. The result of the crime -free state of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is the result of that. If there is such a crime anywhere in the state, then the police will take similar action against the culprit.
