SP MP Ziaurrahman Burke has increased difficulties in the Sambhal violence case. On Wednesday, the police filed a 1100 -page charge sheet in Chandausi MP/MLA Court.

The police have named 23 accused, including Suhail Iqbal, son of MP Burke and SP MLA Iqbal Mahmood, to incite violence. The police have also accused 700-800 unknown.

Violence erupted during the survey of Jama Masjid on 24 November 2024. Four Muslim youths lost their lives in the violence. 29 policemen including SP, CO and Deputy Collector were injured.

MP Burke is accused of provoking the crowd by giving a provocative speech. He called the mosque Sadar Zafar Ali on the night of 23 November and said, ‘The community will spit on us. The survey should not be done under any circumstances. Gather the crowd. ‘

At the time of the violence, Suhail Iqbal, son of city MLA Nawab Iqbal Mahmood, who was in the crowd, fired the rioters and fired at the CO. In this case, the police had filed a case in Kotwali Sambhal.

Police arrested a total of 90 accused including Sadar Zafar Ali Advocate of Jama Masjid in this case and sent them to jail. MP Burke was questioned by SIT on 8 April at Nakhasa police station Nakhasa in Sambhal. Earlier on March 25, SIT Inspector Amrish Kumar went to Delhi and gave notice of inquiry at the MP’s residence.

The court appointed Ramesh Singh Raghav as Advocate Commissioner. On the same day, the team reached the mosque for the survey at 4 pm. Surveyed 2 hours. However, the survey was not completed that day. After this, the survey team reached Jama Masjid on 24 November. Survey was being done inside the mosque.

During this time a large number of people gathered. The mob threw stones at the police team. After this violence erupted. In this, 4 people were killed due to bullet.

79 arrests including 3 women so far in violence So far, 79 miscreants including 3 women have been arrested and sent to jail in the Sambhal violence. No one has been bail yet. Justice Narayan Rai has rejected 130 bail pleas so far.
