Sanjay Singh made a big demand for those working in the bungalows of MPs and ministers

Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and MP Sanjay Singh raised the issue of taking uneven taxes from the Servants living in the government residence of MPs and ministers in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday (February 4, 2025). Sanjay Singh said, "When an MP or minister comes to the government house, he often evacuates the servant quarters. In such a situation, the problem of living of servants living there arises. My demand from the central government is that a colony should be made to diagnose this problem so that these people can stay there temporarily. Also, if fare is being charged from them in the servant quarter or they are not being paid, then it should be investigated.

Sanjay Singh demands about servant quarters

Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh said, "From the area where all of us MPs live, many people of Servant Quarters Association came to meet me one day. There is a bungalow of MPs, judges, ministers and even Prime Minister, President and Vice President in this New Delhi assembly constituency, but if you hear their suffering, it will be very sad. Those people work with an MP or minister and request that we be allowed to stay in this servant quarter. Many times fare is taken from them, so many times it is said that they can stay here but they will have to do free work instead."& nbsp;

Sanjay Singh said, "When a minister or MP goes away and a new minister comes in his place, then he evacuates the servant quarters again. The government has no scheme for them. There is a demand from our government that at least a policy should be made for them that even if that servant leaves, there should be a colony for them where they get a place to live. If fare is being charged from them while staying in the servant quarter, then it should be investigated. Along with this, why the money is not given to the servants working, should also be investigated."

‘All the claims of the government’ Hawa-Hawai ‘

All the good claims were written by the government to them, which they read, but the reality is very different from this.

‘Tax should be charged according to unit area method in NDMC area’

Apart from this, where all of us live in the NDMC area of New Delhi Assembly, even the Parliament also comes in this area, 2009 I was also imposed a rule of property tax of the same unit area method, but in 2019 I said that in 2019 I said that Supreme Court said that in 2019 Only Parliament can make any amendment in this law. NDMC, whose chairman was Arvind Kejriwal, passed it and sent it to the government so that tax can be charged according to the unit area method in NDMC area as well. Despite this, the government is not able to do small work, due to which people living in this NDMC area have to pay a lot of tax tax."

Modi government on China case

MP Sanjay Singh said about the Chinese case,"On Monday, these people were creating a ruckus on the issue of China in Parliament, while these people swing the President of China and make the allegations on the opposition. This government spends only two percent on health and education from GDP. About 54 lakh children have left education from government schools, in which 11 lakh children from the state of Uttar Pradesh alone have got their names cut from a government school."& nbsp;
