In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Sarfaraz’s father and his coach Naushad Khan said that he has also controlled the diet with his son. He said:
We have completely stopped eating bread and rice. Bread and rice have not been made in the house for the last one and a half months. We now eat broccoli, carrot, cucumber, green vegetable salad, grilled fish, grilled chicken, boiled chicken and boiled eggs. They also take green tea and green coffee. Naushad Khan also added this.
