SSC Stenographer 2025: There is good news for the youth preparing for government jobs. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a notification of Stenographer Grade C and Grade D recruitment 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting SSC’s official website ssc.gov.in.
Online applications of SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Recruitment 2025 have started from 06 June 2025, which will run till 26 June. The last date for depositing online application fees is 27 June. After this, applicants will be given the opportunity of correction in their application form on 1 and 2 July 2025.
SSC Stenographer Exam Date 2025: Examination to be held in August
SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D will be recruited through Computer Best Test (CBT). The recruitment exam will be held from 6 August to 11 August 2025. The admit card of SSC Recruitment Exam will be released on the official website before appropriate time before the examination. Candidates are advised to visit the website for the latest information.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for skill test, which will be of qualifying nature. Skill test will be mandatory, but there will be no points. The final selection will be on the basis of merit list from CBT and priorities of the candidate for posts and departments.

– Go to the official website of SSC.
– Registration (OTR) on the homepage (if there is not already registration).
– Fill the required details like educational qualifications, personal details and communication details etc.
– Upload passport size photos and scan copy of the demanded documents.
After checking the entire details, submit the application form.
– Download the confirmation page for further and keep it with a printout.
SSC Vacancy Details
Through this recruitment campaign, about 261 vacancies of Grade C and Grade D will be filled. However, information about total vacancy, category wise vacancy and post viz vacancy details will be released later.

Application fee
General and OBC category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 100, while women and other reserved category candidates have been exempted from the application fee.
Who can apply?
12th pass candidates can apply from a recognized board. For grade C post, the age of candidates should be at least 18 years and maximum 30 years. At the same time, the minimum age limit for grade D is 18 and maximum 27 years. Reserved category candidates will get the benefit of exemption in maximum age limit as per government criteria.
