Sawan Putrada Ekadashi 2025: Putrada Ekadashi is the last Ekadashi of the month of Sawan, which will be celebrated on 5 August 2025. Putrada Ekadashi comes twice a year- in the month of Paush and Sawan. Worshiping and fasting Lord Vishnu on this day brings freedom from all sins. The Ekadashi of Sawan Shukla Paksha is called Putrada Ekadashi, which is also known as purity Ekadashi. According to Hindu belief, by observing a fast on this day and worshiping Vishnu ji, the childless couples get blessings of getting children.

The date of Putrada Ekadashi of Shravan month will start at 11.41 am on August 4 and the date will conclude on August 5 at 1:12 pm. According to Udayatithi, Ekadashi, the son of Shravan month, will be celebrated only on 5 August 2025.

By observing this fast, a person gets freedom from sins and attains salvation, as well as planetary defects are removed.
